The Committee on the Judiciary moved to amend the bill by striking out everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

Eng. Com. Sub. for House Bill 5065—H. B. 5065 -- A Bill to amend and reenact §29-21-13a of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended; to amend and reenact §44-10-14 of said code; and to amend and reenact §49-4-601 of said code; relating to in-court and out-of-court compensation rates of a guardian ad litem in cases involving child abuse and neglect; specifying what constitutes in-court work; setting rate of compensation for a guardian ad litem in a minor settlement proceeding; and clarifying continuing education requirements of guardians ad litem in abuse and neglect cases and minor settlement proceedings.
